Wisconsin High Performance
Training Center
College athletics is facing a rapidly changing environment and Wisconsin rowing is launching a new strategy to support success in this new environment. Announcing Wisconsin High Performance, the Midwest’s first USRowing sanctioned high performance training program.
Rowing out of the Porter Boathouse on the UW campus, WHP augments the men’s rowing program with coaching, recruiting, and equipment focused on developing athletes to their highest potential, whether developing walk-on talent to compete as Badgers nationally, or for realizing the potential of post-graduate athletes with US national team aspirations.
WHP works with the Athletic Department and is funded through Donations to The Wisconsin Rowing Stewards of 1874.
Your gift to Stewards supports WHP by:
• Expanding our athletic department-imposed roster limit by creating a home for promising walk-on athletes, supporting summer rowing, and providing a state-of-the-art facility for developing the athlete’s full potential
• Adds talented coaching and recruiting staff to the UW Varsity Rowing Program
• Provides a training platform for post-graduate student athletes aspiring to compete at the US National and Olympic team levels
Build on the Wisconsin rowing legacy of success through your gift to Stewards.
